An SMS confirms the trip, a second one nudges you about four hours before pickup, and the emailed link lets you edit the booking until 12 hours prior. Card (charged once the ride is confirmed; Apple Pay and Google Pay work) or cash both settle it, and a child seat costs nothing but the asking.
