Paying with a US card — and what finance sees

US-issued credit cards are entirely normal here. The card is saved securely at booking and charged in Canadian dollars only once the ride is confirmed; your issuer handles the conversion on its side, the way it does for the hotel. Apple Pay and Google Pay work at checkout.

You don't need Canadian cash for any of it — gratuity is already inside the all-in quote, so nothing changes hands in the car. If you'd rather pay cash to the chauffeur on the day, that's available too.

After the ride, the email receipt shows the same all-in CAD total you approved when booking — one line for the expense report, tip and tax included, nothing to reconcile against a statement surprise.

Once you're here: meeting days and the trip home
