Where does a limo drop you off at Pearson Terminal 3 for departures?

Answered by the Toronto Airport Limo team · Last reviewed July 6, 2026

At Pearson Terminal 3, your limo stops on the departures-level curb immediately outside the check-in hall — you step out of the car, the chauffeur sets your luggage beside you, and the airline counters are through the nearest doors. Terminal 3 serves WestJet, Air Transat, Delta, American, British Airways and most other carriers outside the Star Alliance. Because a ride to the airport counts as a drop-off, there's no airport pickup fee in the quote: a sedan from central Mississauga, for example, is $112.67 all-in.

Straight to the Terminal 3 departures level

Terminal 3 stacks its roadways like Terminal 1 does: arrivals below, departures above. Your chauffeur takes the ramp to the upper level and stops in the curb lane outside the check-in hall, matching the stopping point to your airline so the walk inside is as short as the curb allows.

It's a drop-and-go curb — you won't be circling a parking garage or hauling cases across a lot. The car stops, the trunk opens, the bags come out beside you, and the terminal doors are right there. On a cold February morning before a sun flight, those few metres matter more than any brochure line.

If anything about the flight changed overnight — a schedule bump, a different departure time — your booking can be edited through the self-serve link up to 12 hours before pickup, and by phone after that. The pickup time should always serve the flight you're actually on.

Which airlines put you at Terminal 3

Terminal 3 is Pearson's home for WestJet, Air Transat, Delta, American, British Airways and most other airlines that aren't part of the Star Alliance. If your ticket is on Air Canada or a Star Alliance partner, you want Terminal 1 instead — and the terminal shown on your booking confirmation is the authority worth trusting over memory.

Give us the airline when you book and the chauffeur plans the curb stop around it. Terminal 3's check-in hall runs a long stretch of counters, and being dropped at the right section beats walking it with a loaded cart.

The fare doesn't care which terminal you use — Pearson is Pearson. So there's no penalty for a last-minute terminal correction; the car simply pulls up to the other building.

  • Terminal 3: WestJet, Air Transat, Delta, American, British Airways + most non-Star Alliance carriers
  • Air Canada and Star Alliance = Terminal 1, not here
  • Your booking confirmation shows the terminal — trust it
  • Fare is identical whichever terminal you're dropped at

The Terminal 3 early-morning rush, and how to beat it

A lot of Terminal 3's traffic leaves early. Sun-destination and transborder departures cluster in the morning banks, which means the check-in hall and security lines are often at their busiest before most of the GTA has finished breakfast.

The fix is unglamorous: arrive with the full buffer. Three hours before an international or US departure, about two before domestic — and let the car absorb the early hour rather than your nerves. Chauffeured pickups run around the clock, so a 4:15 am pickup is routine, not a favour.

Pre-dawn roads are the one mercy of early flights: with no traffic, most GTA addresses reach Pearson in 20 to 55 minutes. The SMS reminder a few hours before pickup means you're not setting three alarms to guard against a no-show.

  • Morning departure banks make T3 busiest early in the day
  • Be at the curb ~3h before international/US, ~2h domestic
  • Pickups run 24/7 — pre-dawn slots are normal
  • Empty overnight roads shorten almost every GTA drive

Drop-off pricing — and the Sheraton Gateway footnote

Rides to Pearson quote lower than rides from it, because the $15.27 airport fee applies only when a car picks you up at the airport. Your Terminal 3 drop-off has no such line: the all-in number from /ride/ — gratuity, 13% HST, everything — is final. From central Mississauga a sedan runs $112.67 all-in; from downtown Toronto it's the same $112.67.

One Terminal 3 particular worth knowing: the Sheraton Gateway hotel is physically connected to this terminal. Travellers who sleep airside the night before a brutal departure can roll a cart from the hotel to check-in without going outside — the rest of us get the next best thing, a curb drop at the doors.

Payment is your choice: card saved at booking and charged once the ride is confirmed (Apple Pay and Google Pay included), or cash handed to the chauffeur on the day.

  • No airport fee on the way in — drop-offs quote lower than pickups
  • Mississauga or downtown Toronto to Pearson: $112.67 all-in by sedan
  • Sheraton Gateway hotel connects directly to Terminal 3

Related questions

  • Is WestJet at Terminal 3?

Yes — WestJet operates from Pearson Terminal 3, along with Air Transat, Delta, American, British Airways and most other non-Star Alliance airlines. Your booking confirmation or boarding pass will state the terminal; if it says Terminal 1, you're likely on Air Canada or a Star Alliance partner.

  • Can we take our time unloading with young kids?

You'll have the minute or two you actually need — the chauffeur handles every bag while you handle the kids, and you unload on the terminal side of the car, away from moving lanes. What the curb doesn't permit is parking: once everyone's out, the car moves on.

  • Does it cost more to be dropped at Terminal 3 than Terminal 1?

No. The quote is to Pearson, and either terminal is the same price. Even a wrong-terminal correction on the day costs nothing — the two buildings are minutes apart on the airport roadway.

  • Can the car drop one of us at Terminal 3 and another at Terminal 1?

Yes — that's just an extra stop, quoted transparently when you book rather than invented at the curb. The terminals are close enough that it adds only a few minutes.

  • What time should the pickup be for an 8 am Terminal 3 sun flight?

Work backward: at the terminal by 5 am for an international departure, then subtract the pre-dawn drive — roughly 20–30 minutes from Mississauga or Etobicoke, 35–55 from Scarborough, Markham or Vaughan. For most of the GTA that means a pickup between 4:00 and 4:40 am.
