How pickup works at the island airport

Billy Bishop sits on the Toronto Islands, and nearly everyone crosses to the mainland through the pedestrian tunnel at the foot of Bathurst Street — a few minutes' walk with moving sidewalks — or on the short ferry across the channel. The DVP for the east side, the Allen for the west

North York is wide, and the route splits by address. For Yonge–Sheppard, North York Centre, Bayview Village and Don Mills, the run goes east on the Gardiner and up the Don Valley Parkway, which becomes Highway 404 at the 401 — off at Sheppard and you are there. For York Mills and Hoggs Hollow, one exit west along the 401 does it.

For the west side — the Bathurst corridor, Wilson Heights, Downsview — the chauffeur climbs through midtown instead and takes the Allen north from Eglinton.
