The five things inside every quoted total

Every instant quote at /ride/ is assembled from the same parts: the base fare for the route and vehicle, the chauffeur's gratuity, fuel where applicable, 13% HST, and the card fee. They're combined into a single figure before you see it — so the quote reads as one clean number, not a stack of provisos.

That construction is the entire point of all-in pricing. A fare that says 'plus tax', 'plus tip' or 'plus processing' hasn't told you what the trip costs; it's told you where the counting starts. An all-in fare finishes the counting first.

It also means the number is stable. The quote is locked when you book — rush hour on the 401, a downpour, or a wave of simultaneous landings at Pearson change nothing about what you pay.

The sixth ingredient: the $15.27 airport pickup fee

One component appears only on airport pickups: a $15.27 airport pickup fee, applied to every pickup at the airports served — and, like everything else, already inside the quoted total. You will never see it added on top of the number you accepted.

The fee is direction-specific. Airport drop-offs — rides taking you to the terminal for a departure — carry no airport fee at all, which is why a drop-off typically quotes a little lower than the same route run as a pickup.

In practice this makes round trips easy to read: the leg that starts at the airport carries the fee inside its quote, the leg that ends at the airport doesn't, and both are flat, final numbers.

What's free, and the one real optional extra

Some things that read like add-ons elsewhere are simply part of the service here. Flight tracking is automatic on every airport pickup — your flight number goes on the booking and the pickup follows the actual landing, delay or no delay, at no charge. Child seats, forward- or rear-facing, are installed free on request.

The one genuine optional extra is meet & greet, at $65, available on airport pickups: your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall with a name sign and walks you and your luggage to the car. It's a service upgrade, priced plainly, and entirely your choice.

SMS confirmation at booking, an SMS reminder about four hours before pickup, and an emailed self-serve link to view or edit the booking up to 12 hours ahead — all standard, all costless.
